Vadapalli Venkateswara Swamy

Vadapalli is a village situated in the banks of Godavari River in Konaseema district in Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Atreyapuram Mandal of Ravulapalem Revenue division. This village is famous for Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, which is also known as “Vadapalli Venkanna Swamy Temple.”

The roof around the temple is packed with “Govindanamalu,” which will help devotees pray them while pradakshina’s are being performed. It is believed that Lord Venkateswara Swamy will be pleased and fulfill their wishes, if the devotees perform 11 pradakshina’s continuously on 7 Saturdays. Hence a large number of devotees are seen here every Saturday. Bhrahmostavam has been celebrated for 10 days, A big number of devotees from different areas of the state visit here on this occasion.

The Deity of Lord Venkateswara Swamy is made of “Sandal wood.”This temple is also known as “Konaseema Tirupati”. In this temple Sri Venkateswara Swamy also called as “Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy.”
